Whittier, Calif. – The C10 and C20 pickup have become increasingly popular over the past few years thanks to plentiful numbers, easy access to parts and (in the C10) "stock car" style truck-arm suspension, perfect for a low-slung stance. The popularity of drop spindles and airbags on these trucks used to mean scraped headers and flattened primary tubes – until now. Hedman’s new “Shorty” small block hedders for 1967-87 C10 and C20 pickups improve ground clearance by several inches while also improving exhaust flow over stock manifolds.
Available either uncoated and with Hedman’s HTC ceramic coating, the Shorty Hedders are available with 1-5/8” or 1-3/4” mandrel bent primary tubes and a 3 inch ball and socket collector that maximizes exhaust flow and ground clearance, and minimizes the chance for leaks. Applications are available for 283-400 small block Chevrolet equipped 1967-87 GM C10 and C20 pickups. Each set of hedders are hand welded, include all necessary gaskets and hardware for easy installation and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Like all Hedman products, these Shorty Hedders are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.
