  We’re saddened to report that  Dee Wescott Passed Away on January 29, 2009. Founder of Wescotts Auto, Dee was an industry icon, well known and loved. Dee Wescott bought his first car in 1939, when he was twelve years old. It was a Model T Ford pickup which, he said, he soon began to modify, rebuilding the motor in his bedroom. A few years later he was racing a Model T roadster through the orchards of his community, Damascus, Oregon  For more on Dee and pending services click here

Brake Pedal Pad Bracket Pedal Mount with stainless brackets and hardware for great looks. Model 40, arguably one of Ford’s sleek exhibit at the Wally Parks NHRA Mo June 2009. “The 1933-’34 Ford Model 40 was a very important car both for Ford and for hot rodders. It helped pull Ford out of the depression and powered racers from Indy to El Mirage. It’s an important milestone anniversary that the Parks Museum’s is excited to celebrate,” said Tony Thacker, executive director of the museum

February 6 - 8th will see the World of Wheels shows at Pittsburgh, PA and  St. Paul, Minnesota. Two great events with tons of awesome cars and family entertainment.  Special appearance at both shows by industry icon Chip Foose... he’s a great guy and you’ll enjoy meeting him. Check out the schedule

Next on the agenda for RodShows is the Sacramento Autorama February 6 - 8th. The Sacramento Autorama is now in its 59th year. The Sacramento area is known as the Custom Car Capital of the World and boasts being home to the 2nd longest running indoor car show.
Over 450 show vehicles will compete for awards inside the Cal Expo buildings. Up to another 400 vehicles will join the event Saturday for the 3rd Annual Autorama Drive-In.

There’s been a big change for the San Francisco Rod, Custom and Motorcycle Show for 2009 .. The date has been moved to FEBRUARY 20- 22  The show had previously been held in Jan. but this new later date works out better for everyone.... Check it out and be sure to put this long time show on your Calendar.
