One of our FAVORITE Events  is coming up soon. The 18th annual California Hot Rod Reunion, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, Oct. 16-18 at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif., is a 3-day festival of speed, hot rods and American automotive enthusiasm.  It’s also the season finale of the NHRA’s Hot Rod Heritage nostalgia drag racing series.  This is an event  for REAL HOT RODDERS !

The National  Street Rod Association ‘still has some great shows coming up this year.... October 1st - 3rd is the Golden State Nationals in Sacramento, California...  always a really nice show ! All vehicles 1979 or earlier are welcome to join in. Get all the details here

We’re happy to have a story about some of our very best friends in the industry....   The guys of the Hot Rod Repair shop....  they were hard at work at Kalamazoo and Rose Novesol got some great shots of them at work...  this was one of a very few that showed any faces....  what we mostly see are heads stuck under the hood or underneath of some rodders car while the guys help them out.   These members of the Michigan Hot Rod Association are a prime example of what a great hobby we have...  and of the very nice people who enjoy it with us.... THANKS GUYS !  and Thanks to Rose for sharing.
