Advanced Plating  Survives the Nashville Floods
Our friends at Advanced Plating were victims of the horrific, and grossly underreported, floods in Nashville this month, but owners Steve and Sheri Tracy are not foiled easily.   Steve stayed with the business and saved his customers parts, and when the waters receded they got to work on the cleanup with help many good friends from the rodding community and other friends and neighbors.   Advanced Plating is already back on track and SHIPPING PARTS... Since the invention of stainless braided rubber hose, racers and mechanics have been fighting the problem of installing it into the socket part of the assembly. Troop 601 members  in Utah are Landspeed Lovers ! Our troop amulet is the Bonneville race car, Speed Demon. George Poteet and Ron Main have been so kind to allow us to where their car on our Council Service Patch. The Scouts all love the Speed Demon and look forward to attending Speed Week 2010 at the Bonneville Speedway in August. We know the Speed Demon is an amazing car and Troop 601 has a high goal to achieve such a standard as this world class race car has but we promise to do our best, work hard and have lots of fun.    Take a look

Eric Black conceptualized this stunning custom after collaborating with Steve, Steve’s Auto Restorations, on the possibilities of a ’48 Cadillac project. Steve and Eric felt it necessary to manipulate the ‘48’s original proportions in order to exaggerate the Caddy’s long and low demeanor. Eric worked to maintain original designer Harley Earle’s key lines, but was able to infuse them with a smoothness that exudes motion.  Look

Dean Court went to the Marin Concourse d’Elegance and was there when famous Hot Rodders,  Andy Brizio,  Blackie Gejejian, and Ed Iskendarian were at the podium.  There were lots of great cars on display and many industry icons in attendance.
