Doug Jerger and crew from Squeeg’s sure had something to be proud of in their outstanding entry at Grand National Roadster Show this year.  Beautifully sleek lines and the perfect combination of new age design and tradtional touches like those great Halibrand wheels all came together to garner the “Big One”  this year.   A big CONGRATULATIONS to all who worked to put this fine car together.

Good friend and VERY talented custom builder Keith Dean ... we’re always happy to see Keith and check out his latest creation at GNRS.  This year he had a great Studebaker truck on display

Brian Fuller of  “Two Guys Garage” show had a full plate at GNRS this year. He had his award winning Impaler on display as well as a very cool Bike in the MC building

Our trick new  Fatman 55-57 Chevy passenger car chassis is designed to fit directly to the original body and sheetmetal. There are 5 different bumper mount bolt patterns used on these cars, so we do not drill these, but we do punch reference points.. Bad Vega scores Chassiworks bracket win at Sacramento Raceway.  On a rare sunny winter Sunday afternoon, Bob Choisser (a Hotrodhotline Roving Reporter)  and his Bad Vega Racing ’73 Vega Kammback bracket car, waded through nearly 80 drag racers to win the Chassiworks NHRA ET Bracket Race Street Division at Sacramento Raceway dragstrip on Sunday, January 23rd. IHelpful Tips from Weedetr: Stance is one of the most important design aspects of building a hot rod. If the stance is wrong, the car doesn't look right.  Before setting up the suspension on a hot rod, the stance should be determined. There are several items that will determine the stance. Wheels and tires play a big part, as does ride height and ride attitude.  More here

Memory Lane....   Unless you grew up in or near the San Fernando Valley in So.
