    The excitement for us at Hotrodhotline came last week with our trip to Detroit for the 59th Autorama..
Jack had been promised a tour of some local shops by friends  Al Tawse and Matt of the MHRA and he had expected it would be a good time... but he had NO Idea just what a GREAT Tour he would be getting...  Check out Jacks day of garage tours in Detroit

Going to shows is always fun anyway...  so many friends to meet up with...  it was really nice to see Tammy Ray, last years Ridler Award winner... she was just beaming because she had been presented with a really awesome  cast “topper” for her trophy by Steve at Advanced Plating... and fittingly... it was Gold plated..   She’s such a nice gal... we were happy to see her again. This is a story of coincidence that just might make you believe in karma.  More than 50 years ago in Ohio, Dennis Brockway was a young man fresh out of the Army and on the verge of getting married. Like many young men, he’d saved enough money to pay cash for his dream car he wanted to start his new life and family with: A 1956 Ford Victoria, Fiesta Red and Colonial White.  Buckling under his father's disapproval, Dennis purchased a Fairlane sedan instead of the Victoria which was a coupe.  He regretted this decision the rest of his life. read on here
