Legendary racer Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen has gathered some of his closest friends and is heading back to “The Beach,” and you’re invited! On Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. McEwen will host a Lions Last Drag Race Reunion at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum.  “The last drag race at Lions took place Dec 1-2, 1972—that’s almost 40 years ago! We’re all getting old and it seemed appropriate that we should host an event to celebrate what is regarded as the preeminent drag strip known throughout the world as simply, ‘The Beach.’”  Get the details here
