Chris Economaki, who died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at the age of 91, was an motorsports commentator, pit road reporter, and journalist. Economaki was known as the "The Dean of American Motorsports'
Economaki was born in Brooklyn, New York. Economaki’s father was a Greek immigrant and his mother a great-niece of Robert E. Lee. Chris was an icon in our industry and he will be greatly missed.

Young Rodders.... I'm Mason from Missouri and cars are my passion. Me and my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 are living life to the fullest, especially this summer. I'm 17 and got the car last summer and drove her home three hours. She is flat black with blue scallops and everything but paint was original when I got the car. American made motorcycles from 1911 thru 1950 will run along the Allenhurst shore, and finish in Loch Arbor.
