This is a 1969 Chevelle SS, nice red Super Sport. It was treated to a frame off nut/bolt restoration.
Added rear disc brakes to get it to stop, since the engine is a 427, with roller cam and lifter. Headers and Flow Masters provide the perfect music made by the thumper cam. Hits a bad lick.
It has a posi 12 bolt rear end, turning from a 4-speed over-drive tranny, with a shift kit.
A Vintage Air system keeps it cool on hot Georgia summer days.
All the sheet metal is original, with serial numbers on the rear trunk from the factory.
Gaps are true all the way around, and paint was color sanded to perfection.
The original bumpers were chromed instead of replaced, so fit is right.
It has a (not often found) tilt steering column, and the 5500 red line tach instrument group as usual.
Others must like it as it was awarded a Top 20 at Chevy High Performance Show (Super Chevy Show) in Commerce, GA this year, and it was driven 50 miles to get there. Still under 300 miles since car was finished in March 2013.
