2nd Annual Hootin Holler Cruise August 10, 2013
Tyner, KentuckySaturday, August 10, 2013
On Saturday, August 10, 2013, The Clay County Cruisers met with the Southeastern Kentucky Cruisers Car Club at a small town named Tyner, and from there began their 2nd Annual Hootin Holler Cruise along US Hwy 421 North to McKee, KY. From there they traveled up Indian Creek a few miles to Hootin Holler. The Cruise took us through the beautiful scenic countryside and mountains of southeastern Kentucky and culminated at a turn of the century small Kentucky mountain town recreation known as Hootin Holler. Hootin Holler is a wonderful view of what life in the Kentucky mountains was like in the early 1900's. Hootin Holler is owned by Ralph Marcum and was built by himself. Mr Marcum is quite an amazing gentleman, in his 70's, he is full of energy and very interesting to talk with. In case you haven't already guessed, everyone had a wonderful time. Now check out these pics I have for you, and you too will enjoy. Now, until next time "May God Bless You and Yours from Me and Mine".
