The Chevrolet Performance NHRA U.S. Nationals this year had a gathering of 2012 and 2013 COPO Camaros. 21 Racers showed up to compete at the superbowl of drag racing events in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 28 - September 2, 2013. The Chevrolet Performance Team headed by Jim Campbell got the COPO owners a place to pit together, "Camp COPO", as well as getting the group together at a dinner on Tuesday evening, held at the NHRA's Top Eliminator Club at the track. We met owners from all over the country and talked COPO Camaro stuff with the Chevrolet team. The owners thanked Chevrolet for the food, pit parking as well as building a great race car. The owners all thanked the Chevrolet Performance Team, turn-key automotive headed by Rich Rinke, Robyn Wright of GM Powertrain, Mike Pustelny of MPR and Rick Anderson of Holley EFI for all their help!
