Bikers for Bini Car Show
Staten Island, New YorkSunday, August 25, 2013
On September 11, 2001, Carl v Bini, a New York City Fireman, responded to a call for the fire at the World Trade Center, much like many first responders, he did not come home from that call.
Today, on August 25, 2013, the Bikers for Bini put on a Car Show at the Staten Island NY Mall, in order to raise money for the Fund set up in the name of Carl V Bini, who from all accounts, had given of himself throughout his life. The Carl V Bini Fund collects and distributes money to help those caught up in disasters, whether they be man made, or natural, such as the World Trade Center disaster, or Hurricane Sandy, in the 5 Boroughs of NYC, much as Carl himself had always helped others.
The Show itself was very well run, check in ran smoothly, and there was a number of people on hand to help direct, and park Show vehicles. In addition to the Show vehicles, there were a number of Vendors, selling a variety of goods, including food, and two Sound Stages, at opposite ends of the Show Field, with live Bands alternately playing to entertain the crowd.
A good Show, for a good cause.
