Mooneyes X-mas Show & Drags

It’s become a December tradition, the Mooneyes X-mas Show & Drags happened at Irwindale Raceway on Saturday 12-7-13. Past Mooneyes events here have had threatening weather, but this is only the second time in 7 years the show got rain. The only real effect of the day-long rain was the drags were cancelled. An estimated 1,000+ participants cars, almost all the vendors, show cars and spectators were still arriving at noon! 4 live bands played all day, Gamblers Mark, Dead Beat Daddies, Hot Rod Trio, and the Dynotones! At 3:00, after the Pin Up contest and trophies were presented, the event ended. The people made this show, and they came out in spite of the rain.
Thanks to Shige Suganuma and Chico of Mooneyes for carrying on the Moon legacy. At this time a make-up date is not planned.
