As the summer winds down, residents are packing up their lounge chairs they’ll have a new reason to get outside and enjoy the weather, The American Pride Car Show held at the Copper Tree Mall, Oakland, NJ hosting an expected 100 or more cars to entertain them and raise money for a worthy cause.
The car show, this year dubbed "American Pride in Oakland," is being organized by the Oakland Community of Commerce and Oakland/Franklin Lakes Rotary Club and will raise money for New Jersey’s Mission of Honor for Cremains of American Veterans. The New Jersey’s Mission of Honor organization is a statewide effort to inter abandoned veteran cremains. The event is funded by local vendors to stimulate the borough’s economy. Complementing the patriotic theme, each award will be presented by a Marine from the Picatinny Arsenal... A great showing of cars, trucks and bike to show American Pride.
