The 34th Annual Great Labor Day Cruise was presented in Costa Mesa, CA. on September 2 thru 4. The weather was very comfortable, with nice cool evenings. The best way to enjoy this event is to stay there for 3 days in your tent, trailer, or motorhome. Watch as these cool hot cars cruise into the night. This is a camp-out like none other. Over a 175 motorhomes found a great spot to enjoy the view. 1,100+ classic cars gathered, and car families & friends that may not have seen each other for a year or more, reunite for 3 days of cruising around the Orange County Fair Gounds 2 mile cruise route, good food, visiting with old friends, making new friends, checking out some of the vendors offerings, and generally relaxing. Friday night was movie night, “Gone in 60 Sec” was playing in the O.C.Promenade. Things to do during the event included, checking out a nice selection of Vintage Trailers, a great Model Car Contest., a 2 mile cruise route, and the big 50/50 drawing. On Sunday over 30 awards were presented to deserving cars.
This year the Great Labor Day Cruise is supporting the Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station. They strive to be the leading force in assisting and supporting the military men and women who have so bravely served and sacrificed for our country.
