Detroit Autorama

I have to thank my friends at the Detroit News for the pic of the General Lee jumping through the air at the auto show. This ramp jump was done live. The car was actually a clone; my follow-up pics show the damage from that jump, something that was never seen on the TV show.

This is the 65th Autorama and it was one of the best - anyone who claims that the hobby is dying was not here. On a personal note, this coverage is dedicated to a good friend and fellow hotrodder who suffered injuries while helping someone else and could not attend the show, making this his first miss in 30 + years. Get well, Don, we all miss you. Enjoy the pics!
