Goodguys All American Get-Together

The GoodGuys 35th All American Get-Together at Pleasanton is the first big event in the bay area each year. The bay area has had a lot of rain, so the cars could not park on the grass. Lots of things were going on Saturday; the AutoCross had lots of tires screeching and the Thunderfest was loud as it should be, thanks to Roger Lee, Rich Guasco, Pat Coyle and GoodGuys.  A special area inside had cars built by Richard Zocchi, who passed away a short time ago. RIP Richard. Mike Mantel had the "Hemi Under Glass" on display in the vender area. The special event on Sunday was the GoodGuys CUSTOM of the Year. There were five great cars between which to choose and it was won by Ron Mailer with a '57 Chevy Nomad wagon that has everything just right.
