ENGLISHTOWN/RACEWAY PARK FALL CAR SHOW/SWAP MEET DAY 2

The second day of the Fall Car Show/Swap Meet at Raceway Park was a carbon copy of the first weather-wise, starting out cold in the early morning and by around 10:00 a.m. getting quite warm, but fortunately without the oppressive humidity we’ve had this past summer.

The participant turnout was even lighter than Saturday, though still enough to cover most of the 1/8 mile of track accessible for the show vehicles. There was a handful of pre-war vehicles, including a Model T Ford, a fair number of Hotrods and Streetrods, the strongest showing, comprised of 1960’s through 1970’s vehicles and a smaller contingent of 1980’s and newer vehicles.

Much like Saturday, as soon as the awards were presented, the majority of the show vehicle owners got in their vehicles and headed for home.
