Atlantic City New Jersey Auto Auction
Atlantic City, NJSaturday, February 9, 2019
It has been two long years since I last visited the Atlantic City New Jersey Auto Auction, held at the Convention Center.
The Auction was in full swing when my son (Martin) and I arrived, and the place was packed. I barely made it in the door, and immediately started meeting people I knew. For a moment, our Roller Coaster Winter of 60 degrees one day, and 2 or less the next, had faded into an indoor summer.
The vehicles up for auction and on display ran the gamut from the early 1900’s right up into nearly the current model year, from the commonplace to the rare and/or exotic.
In addition to the vehicles on display and offered for auction, the Vendors Midway offered numerous automotive maintenance products, automotive service providers (such as radiator repair), several finish care products vendors and even a few home improvement services. For those who have the cash to spare, the was a Dynacore Products vendor at the auction, offering repro bodyshells for a number of popular late 1960’s General Motors Chevrolet vehicles.
We left around 3:30 p.m. to get some food, and at that hour, there was still a pretty good crowd at the Convention Center.
As you'll see in the photos below, a number of the cars at this event have rolled on the silver screen. You can find more about them by checking the hashtag #tvshowcars on your favorite social media site.
