5th Annual SSG Alex Viola Memorial Car Show
Keller, TXSunday, November 10, 2019
What a perfect day for the 5th Annual SSG Alex Viola Memorial Car Show In Keller, Texas. The car show benefits the SSG Alex Viola Foundation, established by long time friend of 37 years Frank Viola to honor his son Staff Sergeant Alex Viola from the U.S. Army Special Forces, who was killed while on active duty in Afghanistan.
By 6:30 AM, they started to arrive - cars, trucks and bikes. The crowds started to fill the square with wall to wall people and all the adjoining lots with over 350 cars, the best in the DFW area and beyond. Could not top the FLY OVER'S and the live and silent auctions, and Art Schling and friends doing his brush magic in the pinstripes gallery. This year event raised over $20,000 dollars.
The Alex Viola Foundation (www.ssgalexviola.org) provides support for fallen and wounded special operations service members and their families. This past March, the Foundation presented checks in the amount of $20,000 each to the Green Beret Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Enjoy the pics - what a great time we all had. Thanks to Frank, Peggy and their team of for an awesome event.
