71st Annual Grand National Roadster Show

Photos are from Friday 1-24-2020. 3 day show but I like Fri. as less crowded for taking pics. The weather was perfect in the 70's. Started tour going through the NHRA Museum and then listening to John Buck talk about the show and the future of GNRS. Then off to the show starting at the contenders for the AMBR Award. All were great rods , one was all the way from Japan. A group of Japanese rodders came over with it and were dressed in red jackets (photo at end) The car was started by one fellow but he passed on so his friends finished it in his honor. Several notables (most were friendly) were noted in the show among them AMANDA, Joe and Shorty ( nice folks indeed) from Iron Resurrection which is starting again in early Feb. ( 2-5-2020) so put it on your calendar.
