Home Depot Cruise Night

The Home Depot Cruise Night has one more Wednesday to go for the
season, and I managed to get over there tonight (9-24-2020) for a quick
visit.
The decision to go tonight was a last minute one, and grew out my
desire to start and run my 1976 Trans Am, which hasn’t seen much use this
year. I got to the Cruise Night a little after 7:00 p.m., and there was about 40
or so vehicles there.
The regular DJ (Jukebox Jimmy) was not providing entertainment at
this evening’s event, and in his place Gasser Al filled in.
I hung around until about a 1⁄2 hour after the Cruise Night officially
ended at 8:30 p.m., then headed home. For reasons I haven’t yet gotten into
finding out, my Trans Am ran rough, acting like the Carburetor was dumping
fuel, all the way home, but then, while I was opening my Garage Door,
suddenly started idling like nothing was ever wrong. The issue of the out of
the out of the blue rough running, put a damper on the evening to say the
least.
