Thunder in Depot Park.

The club was started in 1945 by a group of Sacramento area Hot Rodders . They held their meeting in a chicken coop on Fulton Ave , which at the time was not rven in Sacramento city limits ! This was the first meeting to discuss forming a car club whos members had a common interest in racing their Model Ts & As at the Lazy J speedway in Sacramento This first meeting was the beginning of their Official every two week meetings that has continued with out a miss for 65 years.
