Car Show: 40th Anniversary Boise Roadster Show 2012

40th Anniversary Boise Roadster Show 2012

Garden City, ID
Thursday, March 8, 2012

The Boise Roadster Show is one of the first signs of Spring to hit Idaho’s capitol city as a number of the Nation’s top cars as well as numerous local customs arrive at the Expo Buildings in the Western Idaho Fairgrounds.  Always appreciated by attendees, Saturday’s crowd was elbow-to-elbow with the other three days seeing some good traffic through the booths and displays.

Two of this year’s Ridler Great 8 award winners were on display and certainly caused some congestion around their displays as enthusiasts stopped to view these two fine cars from every angle.  Legendary builder George Barris was on hand to sign autographs and chat about his famous builds that include the Batmobile and the General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard.  For the younger crowd, when not being dazzled by the rows of shiny vehicles around them, Spiderman made appearances and kept the kids entertained with his antics.
Very much a family-oriented event, the Boise Roadster Show never ceases to bring some of the finest vehicles to this Northwest venue and we look forward to many more years of this show to come.
