Salem Michigan Flag Day Parade (staging)

This is a wonderful small Michigan town that still celebrates Flag Day. In fact they take it's celebration very seriously, and have been celebrating for many, many years. It is run entirely by volunteers and is funded by sponsors. The parade vehicles staged in a school parking lot, which filled quickly. The Motor State Street Rods (my club) was well represented with a great group of diversified cars and trucks. The Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club was also well represented with some of the nicest motor cycles that I have seen in a long time. They also showed there respect for war veterans, of which many of the club members were. This is a typical sign of respect offered by bikers to veterans, MIA and POW's. If that was not enough the lot also filled with; the school band, farm animals, farm tractors, a horse drawn wagon, other cars and fire department equipment. Enjoy the pics!
