Twilight Cruise at the NHRA Museum Aug. 1, 2012
Pomona, CAWednesday, August 1, 2012
Just got home from our holiday in the states with our friends Russell and Jules coming along with us on this trip. We all had a great time and saw plenty of cars and doing other sightseeing along the way. We did over 7,000 miles in 5 weeks driving from Louisville, Kentucky back to Los Angeles, California via Detroit and plenty of other out of the way towns and cities.
After landing in Los Angeles from Australia we headed to the NHRA Museum at Pomona for the Twilight Cruise and it was great with plenty of cars and free entry into the Museum. In the museum was Roly Leahy's front engine dragster on display. Roly was an old friend who sadly passed away a few years ago, but before he left us he got the opportunity to take his dragster to Bakersfield and race it running 199+ mile an hour just missing out on 200 mile an hour he so desperately wanted to run. Please enjoy the photos. Bruce and Janelle Morris
