Dodge City Speedway Annual Car Show

Dodge City Speedway, A Go-Kart track, located on Rt.7 in Howes Cave, NY (near Cobleskill) Held its Annual Car Show at the track grounds, during a Sunday afternoon race event.

About 40 Show cars, Trucks, and Motorcycles attended the Show. There was a 50/50 and a Chinese Auction. Spectators voted for 'Peoples Choice" Award, to be given to: Wilmont's Pulling Team's, 1970 Chevy Pulling Truck and 'Best of Show' was awarded to a Beautful 1955 Chevy Bel-Air 4dr. Trophies were awarded to the Top 25.

A Sprint Car powered by a 1100cc Motorcycle motor took a few Hot Laps on the Go-Kart track and the Dirt Stock Car of Rick LaMont powered by a 358 SBC, Made quick work of getting around the small Dirt Go-kart oval, to the crowds delight!
