17th annual Port Orange Family Days Car Show
Port Orange, FloridaThursday, October 4, 2012
It was Opening night at the Family Days Event in Port Orange tonight and to help kick it off there was a "Cruise In" car show. Many cars met up at the Port Orange City Center where there were 13 different food vendors and Carnival Rides for One Dollar!
With the ever present threat of rain and thunder crackling off in the distance, that didn't stop the many car participants nor the people from coming out to enjoy all the wide variety of food provided by so many food trucks (Thirteen!).
Last years attendance was estimated to be 55,000 and certainly things got off to a good start! I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was excellent! There was hardly any room left to sit at the many tables provided by the city.
Thanks again for the invite - we had a blast! Several cars from the Daytona Mustang Club attended. Its such a beautiful spot around the lake - weather problems of late or not - we were there to support our community!
Thank You Port Orange. Gary Rosier, Daytona Mustang Club Event Co-ordinator
