Waynes Speed Shop Toys for Tots
Waynes Speed Shop - South Amboy NJSunday, December 2, 2012
If you haven’t been to this Show yet, make it your business to attend it next year. The ONLY cost to get in, a new, unwrapped toy, which is collected by the Marine Corps Reserve, for their “Toys-4-Tots” holiday gift program. You also get complimentary Coffee, and a free Donut in the morning, a free pretzel later on, dozens upon dozens of great cars to look at, the freedom to tour Wayne’s Speed Shop, and the nearby Autobody Shop, plus the company of hundreds of fellow automotive enthusiasts. The weather this year was a bit dismal, but that DID NOT dampen the spirit, nor the fun to be had at this event. The vehicle turnout, despite the heavy morning fog, was tremendous, with cars, and trucks encircling Wayne’s Speed Shop, filling the nearby side street, and extending across a roadway to a small Strip Mall nearby.
In addition to the Show, there was a Charity fundraiser Auction of custom painted Automobilia, and a 50/50 Raffle for charity as well.
