ACCC (Association of California Car Clubs) and the California Car Museum (formerly the Towe Ford Auto Museum, 1987 created by Edward Towe) combined a two-day conference and the annual All-You-Can-Eat spaghetti dinner on Sunday, April 7th. Nearly 500 gear heads, car enthusiasts and guests enjoyed a walk through some of the finest and most interesting automobile displays on the West Coast and dined on a spaghetti dinner by Taste of Tuscany. Dinners also learned about plans for a new home for the museum. Executive Director Karen NcClaflin honored the life of the “Car Guy” Butch Gardner on a cool spring afternoon. The CCM shows offers a collection of more than 160 classic cars, race cars, muscle cars, hot rods and early models displayed throughout the current 72,000 square feet of museum space. There are several “hidden treats” located in several corners of the museum. If you are near Sacramento, a visit to the CCM is definitely worth a few hours of your time. Enjoy, Bob Choisser
