2nd Annual Harrington Car Show
Harrington, WASaturday, April 27, 2013
We cruised over the mountains to the east side to participate in a car show and to check out some new roads, check out some familiar ones and just get away for a few days putting a few more miles on the 66 Studebaker Daytona.
The 2nd Annual Harrington Car Show sponsored by Allen Barth and his contributors turned out to be a total success. Despite the cooler windy weather there was a wonderful group of car folks cruising the small town of Harrington, WA. 12 miles south of Davenport, down Hwy.28 a piece. The participants came from Spokane, Moses Lake, Soap Lake, Newman Lake, Cul de Sac, Idaho and many points between. Seventy cars were registered and were treated to dash plaques, T-shirts, raffle and a lunch of burgers and dogs. Quite a variety of rides were shown on the main street to the delight of the locals. Watch for this one again next year!
