Encinitas Cruise Night

This was the opening night for Encinitas Cruise Night. The Little Guys Street Rods was the host car club. Encinitas is a coastal beach town on highway 101. Given that 101 is open to normal traffic the show is well organized. Before the big freeways came to town highway 101 ran up the California coast through all the beach towns. Today Highway 101 is a nice way to see the coast if you have time, lots of time, on your hands. In the 1960's, I made many runs on 101. It's nice that you can still travel on 101 that preserves many good memories.
