The Ocean City Maryland Car Show/Cruise is in its 23rd Year, and going strong. We've been several years, and know where to stay and where to eat, which always enhances the experience.
I'd recommend Dumsers (we ate dinner there), which is what Friendlys wishes it was, an ice cream parlor, with a regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was very good. The other eatery we stopped at is the Dough Roller, where we ate breakfast. Good food, reasonable prices and great service. On our way to the show, and on our way back, we stopped at the Millford Diner. We first tried this diner in 2011 on the way to the show, and obviously, we were happy to return!
The only slight damper to the show was a heavy police presence as a result of some reckless driving that occurred last year. Some folks just can't help trying to ruin the fun for everyone else! Still, it was a good trip, and a good show.
