I purchased this car as it shows here except for removing black power coated parts from the engine and replacing them with polished aluminum and replacing to open rear with a new posi unit. It is an Outlaw Performance body and Pro Street Chassis with Mustang 2 type suspension, rack n pinion steering, ford 9" posi rear, 4 link coilovers, and 4 wheel disc brakes. It sports a Summit crate engine and B&M turbo 350 trans with a shift kit. It is painted Pearl White with ghost graphics and pinstripes. The interior is red cloth, bucket seats, Dakota Digital gauges, a 4 point roll cage.
Unfortunately, when I took the car to the Super Chevy Show in Dinwiddie, VA last May (which was rained out) the car was involved in an accident. It is now going under a complete frame off restoration. The frame is being replaced with an Outlaw Performance Pro Street and being upgraded from the Mustang 2 to a Heits Super Ride with tubular control arms and coilover shocks. The rear suspension will remain the same. The engine will see some upgrades also. Induction will be through a fabricated polished aluminum tunnel ram topped by Holleys Stealth Terminator EFI, running through Brodix Race Rite Aluminum Heads controlled by a Comp Cams EFI Roller Cam. When the car is completed I'll send photos of the results.
Loaded in trailer after accident. Cause of accident.... original owner did not have steering shaft attached properly to rack n pinion. Steering shaft seperated from rack and car swerved into guard rail. Luckly, I was not going very fast. Even more lucky..... I was well insured. Would you believe the VA State Trooper charged me with reckless driving!!! In VA this could carry jail sentence. I beat it in court.
