This past weekend (June 5 - 7, 2015) was the NSRA Street Rod Nationals East Plus in York, Pennsylvania.
COMP Cams and the National Street Rod Association are pleased to announce that the selection of the “Thumpr Award” for this show goes to this highly detailed 1923 Ford T-Bucket owned by Gene Bowles from Howell, New Jersey.
Each show, the Thumpr Award is given to "one diehard enthusiast with a vehicle that stands out from the crowd and captures the true essence of American muscle." The focus is particularly on unique and unusual engine combos, which you can certainly see in this T-Bucket.
Congratulations to Gene on this much deserved recognition!
The National Street Rod Association (aka NSRA), has been serving rodders since 1970 with an organization dedicated to bringing rodders together with quality events. The NSRA has many programs designed to benefit our hobby, most notably the 23 Point Inspection provided FREE at all NSRA events and many other rod runs and shows around the country, which ensure that the vehicles we love to drive are as safe as they are cool !
