Legendary car-designer George Barris of Barris Kustoms, North Hollywood, CA, is known as the �King of Hollywood Kustoms� for his movie cars. Some of the most famous are the �Batmobile�, �Flintstones� and the featured car in �Back-to-the-Future�. His outrageous creations have excited young and old for decades, while setting trends in the hot-rod and custom-car industries. Recently, Barris created his first bicycle ever- a custom cruiser.

The first of the Barris / Nirve cruisers is the �Cruisin' USA � Darts� model. The �Darts� is a single-speed, coaster-brake cruiser, featuring old-school custom "Dart� graphics by George Barris. Other features include: Nirve-Signature �Galaxie� frame, "flame-tread tires,� gas-pedals and a tuck-n-roll, embossed seat, rear-fender skirts with engine-turned, silver-leaf graphic panel and polished chrome component group.

Alfred DiMora, former Clenet car-designer and manufacturer, is a long-time friend of George Barris. Currently, DiMora (www.dimoramotorcar.com) is creating the most technologically-advanced production luxury-car, the sixteen-cylinder, $2-million-dollar �NATALIA�. One would expect that Alfred also knows a cool cruiser when he sees one!

He and his daughter Chanel knew they had to have the first of this collectible series. George was honored by the request and personally autographed and hand-delivered the #1 �Darts� Cruiser, straight from the production line, to Chanel at DiMora�s home in Palm Springs, California.

Curious people of all ages have been stopping Chanel every time she rides it. Chanel says, �Riding this bike is great fun and exercise and I feel like the owner of an exotic car.�
