A man and his books!

Herb Martinez will be signing both his new books, “Guide To Pinstriping” and “Pinstripe Planet” at the Tommy The Greek Award Booth all weekend at the San Francisco Rod, Custom, and Motorcycle Show, January 12-14th. Since starting to teach workshops on pinstriping basics, he has felt the call to produce a book that covers the entire world of pinstriping techniques, tools, and resources. The book was two years in the making and noi book has ben done to this extent and beyond since 1956.

Pinstripe Planet is the book that Herb would have done next, however “Yak” at Korero Books in London beat him to the punch. “He did a far better job than I think I was capable of” says Martinez. “The company has truly published a work of art on the subjects of pinstripers and pinstriping art”.

Herb is a member of: The Grand National Roadster Show Hall of Fame The San Francisco Rod, Custom, and Motorcycle Hall of Fame and The Mack Brush Hall of Fame.

Editor Herb Martinez is a widely respected pinstriper whose work has been shown in all the major hot rod publications. Based in Livermore, California he can be found pinstriping at events in Switzerland, Germany and Japan, as well as across the US.
