Robert Collins 1957 Chevy

This years award was a copy of the famed guitar Tommy “The Itch” Otis, the sponsor, creator and presenter of the Von Dutch Award For Excellence, pinstriped for Brian Setzer "

Each year he builds a different award and presents it to the best pinstriper of the show and the year. He was an Von Dutch Award winner in 1997.

What he looks for in giving this award is great hand eye brush control, straight lines, flowing designs, style, consistent line thickness and quality line connections.

Every award he builds is different to reflect the true mood of Von Dutch.  No two are the same.
