Molalla, Oregon – April 5, 2010 Superior Glass Works today announced the addition the 1941-1946 Chevrolet pick-up truck chassis to its broad line of street rod and truck chassis. Despite limited production numbers during World War II, many of these Art Deco Chevy trucks have found themselves in the hands of car enthusiasts. Like most old trucks, their chassis can show considerable wear after all these years. We offer a safe, strong, and good looking chassis built to Chevy’s original specs that will accept original and aftermarket body panels. With its original size and shape, this new chassis is suitable for a restoration project and its heavy gauge, fully boxed rails and stout x-member will perform exceptionally well under a modern hot rod. The full range of suspension components from the leading manufacturers in the industry are available for your custom build.

Superior Glass Works has decades of experience building street rod chassis, including those for the 1947-53 Chevy pickup, 1931-39 Chevrolet car and Ford Model T, A and 1932-40 cars and trucks. Each fully-boxed frame is made to the original manufacturers’ specifications. They draw upon this experience to help you select the right combination of components for your project.  As owner Brad Peterson puts it, “If you’ve seen it at a show or in a magazine, we can build it!”

In addition to their new chassis for the Art Deco trucks, Superior Glass Works also manufactures fiberglass front fenders, rear fenders, 2" wider rear fenders, and smooth running boards in stock width or wider to match our wide fenders.

More information about the new Chevrolet chassis and other products mentioned is available at www.superiorglassworks.com or by calling 888-731-7670.
