The Quarter Mile Foundation Is a non-profit organization dedicated to perserving the history of drag racing in the views of its pioneers and legends. The Foundation is made up of a group of individuals dedicated to the sport and to creating a documentary to "capture the history of drag racing and the performance automotive aftermarket that spawned from it."
Through this foundation, Project 1320 was born. This project will be a collaborative effort with drag racing television producer John Mullin and the Mullin Production group and will be a multiple episode documentary about the history of drag racing.
"More than just a historical archive, the documentary will bring the daring, genius and excitement of drag racing to a new audience, and a new generation of fans," their website reads. "It will be composed of both first-person interviews with drag race and performance aftermarket greats and archival footage that brings the sport to life."
The series is expected to be twenty-five episodes long, with the pilot episode being a feature-length documentary showing the highlights and shining starts of drag racing history.
