How ShineSeal works: Shineseal™ is a proprietary chemical sealant. NOT a polish, cleaner, or a was. Shineseal™ offers protection against Dulling / Oxidation by impregnating and chemically bonding into the pores of your products. Shineseal™ becomes one with the metal and seals off the breathing process, thus stopping the Oxidation and Deterioration of the metal. For use on Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, Copper, and Chrome.
1. Protects against oxidation and dulling
2. Eliminates repeat polishing for up to 2 years.
3. Retains the rich brilliance of polished aluminum.
4. Safe to use and is environmentally friendly.
5. Bonds chemically to your products.

About ShineSeal
We have been machining and stamping metals for over 40 years. During those years, the parts we made had various finishes applied to them according to blueprint specifications- for example-anodizing, powder coating, chroming.
When we started to manufacture billet aluminum products for the after market automotive industry, a polished or satin finish was desirable. Both finishes look great but unfortunately leave the aluminum "bare" and thus susceptible to oxidation, or "dulling". While displaying our products at various trade shows, we found the customers wanting something to stop the oxidation without changing the beautiful appearance of the aluminum.
Various coatings and processes available at that time were then researched and nothing was found to meet the customers' wishes. All the processes found changed the appearances of the polished or satin finished product.
It was at this point, that a Chemist, well versed in the sealant industry, was asked to formulate a chemical that stopped oxidation but did not change the appearance of the substrate (metal). After over 5 years of experimenting and many formulations later, a viable formula was created and marketed. However, the formula had some drawbacks like short shelf life and application was somewhat difficult. By this time the Chemist had fallen ill and had to retire from his practice. Having left this company and having done a bit of chemistry in college many years ago, I took it upon myself to make my own formula which was quite different from what the Chemist formulated. Shelf life was increased and application was simplified and made easier. This new formulation not only helps stop oxidation but also protects against some of the common chemicals used in households and automotive areas like oils, antifreeze, power steering/transmission fluids, mild household cleaners just to mention a few. As everyone knows, there are so many chemicals available today it is virtually impossible to list them all.
