The SEMA Action Network is making a push to request allowance for the sale of turn-key replica cars.
Congress passed a 2015 law to remove regulatory barriers that have prevented small volume automobile manufacturers from building and selling turn-key replica cars in the U.S. While the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) had until December 2016 to implement the law, they haven’t even published a draft regulation. It’s time for the federal government to get out of the way, so that brand-new replica vehicles can be produced.
