The Mullin Museum's "Under the Hood" YouTube series brings viewers into the museum and into the heart of French performance vehicles.
The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, CA has a unique collection of classic automobiles. Now it's opening up the virtual doors, and engine bays, for car lovers to enjoy some of their amazing vehicles with a brand new YouTube series.
Airing Fridays at 12 p.m. PT, the five-episode series, “Under the Hood," celebrates the engines that power the crown jewels of the museum’s collection, for free and from the comfort of home. The series debuted on July 24, 2020, featuring the 1994 Bugatti EB 110 Supersport Le Mans.
Each episode allows viewers to learn more about the engines that power the extraordinary French automobiles in the museum’s collection.
“We are excited to debut our new ‘Under the Hood’ series and YouTube channel,” said Mullin Automotive Museum Founder and Executive Director Peter Mullin. “Digital content serves as an important tool to allow enthusiasts around the world to enjoy our collection and hopefully inspire them to one day visit the cars in person.”
The 1994 Bugatti EB 110 Supersport Le Mans, star of the premier episode, is powered by 3.5-liter V12 with four turbos. It's one of the museum's more modern examples of a French high-performance automobiles. Going back in time, the second episode will feature the 1937 Talbot-Lago T150-C-SS “Goutte d’Eau” (July 31), the 1938 Dubonnet Hispano-Suiza H6B “Xenia” (August 7), the 1934 Avions Voisin Type C27 Grand Sport Roadster (August 14) and the 1931 Bugatti Type 50S (August 21).
