Over The Hill Gang (Crew) Tucson, AZ
We are like most OTHG clubs that are 1948 and older...however we have a club within the club called Over The Hill Crew....this covers KUSTOM cars 1949-1965.....this is unique to our chapter I think, however it is a growing trend as we are a quite diverse club with eveything from the high dollar billet rods & traditional rods to the guys building their cars in the garage at nite. We willingly bring young guy's into the club as they are the future of our hobby. They idea is to enjoy doing things with the cars (driving them) but mostly it about friends. Thanks a lot Kent Meacham president OTHG Tucson

West Capital Raceway Alumni Association Napa, CA
We are the West Capital Raceway Alumni Association and have been incorporated as a non profit organization for 8 years now with over 500 members. Our main goal is preserving the rich history of racing, not only at the now defunct West Capital Raceway, but all open wheel racing in California. We have an annual gathering to induct persons into the West Capital Raceway Hall of Fame that has been involved in the history of the sport. This last year our event was the "All American Vintage Classic" held at the Roseville Speedway and as our guest we had the Indianapolis winner Parnelli Jones and Hila Sweet (the first woman to receive a NASCAR license to run against the men on the West Coast). We drew over 100 vintage cars from as far away as Vancouver Washington, Boise Idaho, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and from the northern tip of California to the southern end with all in-between. This rolling museum put on exhibitions for two days on the quarter mile semi banked oval track and drew about 2,000 people and we expect to double this year as the word as spread what an awesome event it really was.
