America's Most Beautiful Roadster 2014

Congratulations to Wes Rydell and his 1935 Chevy Phaeton, “The Black Bowtie” for winning the coveted America’s Most Beautiful Roadster award.  This rare and subtle beauty had tongues wagging all weekend.  It was designed by Chip Foose and built by Troy Trepanier and was 15 years in the making from the time Rydell conceived of the roadster.

We’d also like to congratulate Paul Tregembo and the Roseville High School Shop Class from Detroit, MI whose  efforts on their 1931 Ford Pick-up won a Rising Star award from the Grand National Roadster Show honoring the future these young people represent!
