While on the road made a late stop at Motor City Steel in Waterford Township, MI. MCS are a dedicated group of gear heads, devoted to the improvement of your classic performance street rod, offering everything from general service and repair to custom builds. MCS also does engines, transmission rebuilds, dyno, and computer chip tuning too. 

Private Tour of The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing

It’s cool to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a Private Tour of The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing (EMMR). The EMMR houses an outstanding collection of vintage racecars and artifacts, as well as a research library of rare books, documents and photos pertaining to the sport of auto racing. Located on a restored 40-acre fairground and racetrack in Gettysburg, PA.

Thanks to my friend Bruce Larson, Alison Kreitzer and Mike Winslow the curator for allowing me to see unique and rare collections.

Open Friday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm April – October. EMMR is a non-profit, entirely volunteer organization.

On the road to check out Jack Frost Auto Museum is a working Automotive Museum & Full Service Restoration/Storage Facility. The Jack Frost Museum is dedicated to honoring the life, work, and enduring impact of Jack A. Frost – a visionary lighting electrician contractor, entrepreneur, automobile enthusiast, and community leader. Thanks to Russ and his staff for showing the history and what is in the restoration shop along with cars for sale.

Behind the Door – Ford Piquette Avenue MODEL T Plant

As the birthplace of the Ford Model T car, the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is recognized as one of the most significant automotive heritage sites in the world. The first Model T built for sale was completed on September 27, 1908 and still on display today. .
