Jason Rushforth in 2001

Earlier this year we got a tip on a fine young rodder who is also an artist in the rodding industry...so we decided to track him down.  Jason Rushforth is a 29 year old from Washington State.  He has been drawing for his entire life and doing it for a living for about 8 years. He has done work for Sport Truck Magazine,  IDA Automotive, Primedia,  Boyd Coddington and many more legends in the automotive industry.

This is Jasons "HOT ROD"  A '95 Caprice that is lowered and set off with a Trenz Grill and 20" Boyd Wheels.

Jason has had many mentors in rodding ~  Steve Stanford, Chip Foose and Thom Taylor just to name a few.
Much of Jasons' work includes paint design, but he also does complete concepts featuring body modifications, interior designs and one off wheel designs.  If you can imagine it….. Jason can put it on paper !

Jason Loves Rodding.. This year he made it to the NSRA  Nats in Louisville,  The Grand National Roadster Show, Good Guys Northwest Nationals in Puyallup,  Good Guys in Pleasanton and the  SEMA Show in Las Vegas !

Jason Says the highlight of his year, though,  was when he got to be an extra on the "Titus" show,  which was filming with Jasons friend Rob Ida.  He was in a car show scene where they were polishing Robs Willys.  After the filming they had a blast doing burnouts in the studio parking lot with Jason riding shotgun.
