I am JT Duty, I am from Northern Indiana. I would like to enter my 1962 VW Bug In The Young Rodders. I started working in the garage when I was about 6 helping my Dad with a 67 Chevelle Super Sport and learning. From there I drifted away from American muscle and bought a VW built it and sold it and when back to American Muscle cars. Now here we are I am back in to building Bugs and would like to show my car to you and maybe get a change to be know as a Young Rodder who can build nice cars instead of everyone blow you crap because you are not Chip Foose. I have put a lot of time into this car for starters. This car was a solid 62 VW that was a good running car when we bought it now the roof has been chopped 6 inches and the center post have been taken out of it. The doors have been capped and brand new original VW seat covers. The front end has been pushed out almost 5 inches and a set of 17 inch 1933 Ford wire wheels have been installed. The front end is set up on Air Ride with and the rear is also Air Ride. If you want to go to the gas station in my local town I can’t drive this car if I am in a hurry because every one stop to look. I hope everyone likes my car and you will see it at a lot of the GoodGuys shows this coming year 2010.
