Well here are the pics of my '29 Tudor. So I guess I'll tell you how I got it & what it is. I'm originally from Tennessee, but I'm in the Air Force & stationed in South Dakota. I'm 25 & I've always loved cars especially Model A's, Tudors especially. I never thought I would have a Model A because of the scarcity of them in the south. After I got here in SD, I started traveling around on the weekends & started to see many rock solid cars. I had always heard there were a lot of cars here. Still I hadn't found a Model A. I sort of shifted gears to later '30's, early '40's cars. One day I was talking to a guy in Rapid City about a '35 Sedan he had & during the conversation I told him I really wanted an A. To my surprise he had a friend in the Black Hills who has quite a few Model A's. Well I went & looked & 2 weeks later bought the '29 Tudor of my dreams, in many pieces of course.
About the '29, all parts except for the wheels & coil-overs are swap meet, junk yard, or have been made by me. The frame is boxed original, Body is real steel original, Front suspension is Mustang II, Rear is 8 3/4 Chrysler with ladder bars & coil-overs. Wheels are 15x5 front & 15x10 rear, Engine is '70 10:1 472 Caddy, Trans is TH400, Firewall is recessed about 6.5". Steering column is '75 Caddy tilt/telescopic. Things that still need to be finished to be drivable are exhaust, brakes, wiring, radiator, floorboards. I'll finish the bodywork & roofline later. I just want to get it drivable & have some fun. I have done everything myself except for sandblasting the body. When finished it will be highboy with side-pipes & no hood. Just remember to always polish that primer before the show. Thanks Ken.
