Kevin and his Dad are working on this 1972 C-10 short wide project. They are doing all the work themselves. They are using parts form two vehicles, the big windowed cab and bed from the '72 and the frame and front-end from a 1968. Kevin's Dad has been building hot Rods since he was a kid. Kevin has really enjoyed working on his truck with his dad. |

The powder coated frame has been lowered 4/6 using Belltech spindles and a c-notch. The firewall has been filled and smoothed, the door handles shaved, and the side markers and cowl are filled. |
The 1972 cab had a fair amount of rust in the cab corners, doors, sills, and floor; which have been cut out and replaced. |

They are in the process of relocating the tailgate handle to the inside, and filling the stock tailgate. |

A roll pan with tail lights will replace the rear bumper. The reuck and engine will be painted Viper red. |

The engine is a 4 bolt, .030 over 350 with a 268 Competition Cams camshaft, Edelbrock Performer intake and carb, hypereutectic pistons, gear drive and roller rocker arms. The engine was balance following the machine work. |

Some of the other vehicles in the shop are a 1939 Chevy 2 door sedan which belings to Kevin's dad, a 1948 Chevy 2 door, and an engine which his dad is building for a friend's 1969 Camaro. |
